Pull up foundations: a 30 day course
How to build the awareness, mobility, and strength you need to eventually pull yourself up.

Have you always wanted to build the strength needed for pull-ups, but don't know where to start? This course will teach you foundations of motor control, mobility, and strength you need to eventually achieve a pull-up. You will receive:
- 5 workouts a week for 4 weeks (3 practices that require access to a bar and 2 optional bodyweight practices)
- A thorough and comprehensive overview of shoulder mechanics and how the pull-up actually works
- Access to two weeks of additional programming once the course ends
- More endurance, body awareness, and strength
You need:
- Access to a secure bar you can swing from
- A towel if you practice on hardwood or paper plates if you practice on carpet
- Two yoga blocks or books
- A wooden dowel
- 20-60 minutes a day (practices vary in length depending upon which set/rep scheme you use)
- An open, curious mind and patience
Your Instructor
I began training people, full time, 17 years ago after graduating from UC Davis with a B.S. in exercise physiology. I went on to complete several certifications, study many different movement modalities, acquire a M.S. in Human Movement, write a book about body awareness, and own a thriving personal training studio, and create online courses for people who want to improve their awareness, mobility, and strength and/or who want to take their coaching and teaching expertise to another level.
